I visit the Tirupati Temple often to seek the blessing of Lord Venkateshwara. There are different ways to reach the temple, either by the walking path or by travelling in a vehicle. I always prefer the walking path as it is like any trekking experience with bit of spirituality attached to it.

Note: In this blog I am going to share my walking experience.

STEP 1 : TRAIN

[CHENNAI CENTRAL—-> TIRUPATI RAILWAY STATION]

I took the morning Sapthagiri Express from Chennai Central. The Departing time was 6:25 A.M. Arrival Time at Tirupati was 9:45 A.M.

STEP 2: AUTO RIDE

NOW After reaching my destination I took an auto from the Tirupati Railway station and went to Alipiri ( Foot of seven hills in Tirupati).

Have you ever seen an auto ticket?
NOTHING LIKE AN AUTO!!

REACHED ALIPIRI FINALLY!!

STEP 3 : THE STEPS

The total distance from Alipri to Tirupati is 12KM by walk consisting of 3550 steps. Duration is 3 to 4 hours depending upon the stamina.

FREE DARSHAN FOR THOSE WHO WALK.
GETTING READY TO POSE!
HERE WE GO!!
GREEN CANYON!

I took 4 hours to reach Tirupati..it’s not easy especially the last 500 steps..but the satisfaction you get after completing is unexplainable.

Look who reached!

HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DARSHAN TOO!!
